Arizona Humanities Council presents:
Liberty vs. Security A forum with Eleanor Eisenberg, Executive Director of the AzCLU and U.S. Senator John McCain Monday, January 28th 11:30 am - 1:00 pm Burton Barr Library, downtown Phoenix
Kyrsten Sinema has reserved twenty seats for AAPJ at this forum, no more
seats are available. Twenty people signed up to attend at AAPJ's general meeting this past Sunday, and they will be given preference. Final rsvp's should be emailed to ksinema@home.com by Friday, January 25th so that any remaining spots can be offered to others. Details about how to get access the forum will be given to those attending.
The media will likely be at this event, and AAPJ should have a noticeable and forceful presence. In addition to the 20 AAPJ members in the audience, we need to have a strong group of AAPJ members outside the library protesting the war in Afghanistan and Sen. McCain's comments regarding expansion of the war into Iraq. If you can protest outside the library during the forum, please email Kyrsten at ksinema@home.com.
